Join us for an incredible week of building the first support structure for our thriving community garden!

What you'll be building:

A sustainable support shelter structure with a functional work and cleaning station that will be the foundation for future harvests and community gatherings.

What You'll Gain:

• Learn practical building skills with wood
• Experience the satisfaction of creating something with your hands
• Connect with like-minded community members
• Take a mindful break from screens and stress
• Contribute to a space dedicated to sustainability, inclusivity, and collaboration

Morning Sessions:

• 10:30 AM - 1:00 PM (Perfect for students and early birds!) - you can choose a 1.30 hour slot when registering.
• 2 volunteer spots available per day

Afternoon Sessions:

• 2:00 PM - 5:30 PM (Great for working professionals!) - (Perfect for students and early birds!) - you can choose a 1.30 hour slot when registering.
• 2 volunteer spots available per day

The DESIS Lab @Nova SBE are collaborating with Black Polar Bear to make this vision a reality using eco-friendly construction methods and materials.

The Nova SBE Community Garden is a collaborative space where people connect with nature, share knowledge, and grow ideas together. Located on Rua da Holanda, we're building bridges between the university and the surrounding neighborhood through creativity, sustainability, and collaboration.

Sessões da Manhã:

• 14:00 - 17:30 (Ideal para profissionais!) - podes escolher um slot de 1h30 ao registares-te.
